Born in 1990 and a graduate engineer from Arts et Métiers, Bastien Bonhomme made the decision to free himself from his responsibilities in watchmaking and then in the automotive industry, fully committing to the exploration of sculpture.
Animal representation becomes self-evident for him. Indeed, since a young age, the artist has been deeply sensitive to the beauty and diversity of animals. He enjoys reinterpreting this fascinating world according to his perception and imagination.
Each piece is the result of a fusion between the strength of forms and emotional delicacy, capturing the essence of the creatures that inhabit his inner world. Spontaneity characterizes his work, with each movement of the material becoming a dance, creating lively and energetic sculptures.
